What is KeelTruth?
We are an open, independent platform built by sailors for sailors. KeelTruth works as a shared registry of charter boats where skippers can share check-in protocols, real defect photos, and fair reviews. We track boats by their Hull Identification Number (HIN), so problems cannot be hidden by simply renaming the boat. The goal is simple: join forces so a charter company cannot charge you again for damage that was already on the boat long before you.
